We’ve talked about the Zodiac many times in the past. Whether it was an in-depth analysis of each Zodiac sign, a foretelling of your future ahead through horoscopes, or even a more detailed look into moon signs. We’ve been there, done that. But what we haven’t really talked too much about is your Zodiac symbol meaning. And no, we don’t mean the sign, we mean the symbol of where it all started. Believe it or not, the symbol of your Zodiac can also tell you things about yourself that your horoscope can’t. So for today, we’re going to delve into a brief explanation of each of the signs & what your Zodiac symbol in itself is telling you. Let’s get started.
Aries – The Ram (March 21st – April 19th)
To kick off the Zodiac is Aries, AKA, the Ram. The Aries symbol shows that of a ram with big horns, which symbolizes the warrior. As the ram charges, the Aries tend to rush into situations without thinking first. The horns of the animal also mark sharp characteristics & features of those born under this sign. Their horns & charge also suggest a temper; thus, they are direct, to the point, & step forward with power behind them in every choice they make.
Taurus – The Bull (April 20th – May 20th)
Next, the Taurus is the symbol of the bull. Being a sign of the earth, they are grounded & tread carefully, although, they are not afraid to charge when necessary. They hold their head high, stick close to their responsibilities, & are always gentle for those they care for. Although, just as with the bull’s thick horns, these signs are very stubborn & do not like things getting in their way. So if you mess with the bull, in this case, you truly do get the horns.
Gemini – The Twins (May 21st – June 20th)
Next is the Gemini. This sign is represented as the celestial twins to show the two personalities of the sign. Thus, the Gemini tends to show one person to everyone they meet; the outgoing, conversational, open-minded person, while keeping the other side (emotional, vulnerable, & nervous) hidden. Many believe this split behavior also contributes to their inconsistency & drastic choices in life. But when this sign opens up to you, they will welcome you into that side they are more secretive about & it is truly a beautiful thing.
Cancer – The Crab (June 21st – July 22nd)
Next, the symbol of the Cancer is represented through the crab. This is the perfect symbol to represent this sign as the crab has a hard shell & a soft underbelly, making this sign easy to hurt. Cancer is also a home-body & a bit of a loner, so carrying their home on their backs where they can retreat when needed is essential. Overall, despite this sign’s vulnerability, if you hurt someone the Cancer cares about, you better be ready to get the claws.
Leo – The Lion (July 22nd – August 22nd)
Moving onto the end of the summer sign, the Leo. The Leo is represented through the mighty lion, & there’s no question as to why. This sign definitely feels like the king of the Zodiac, as the lion feels like the king of the jungle. With such, this sign is very proud, demanding, & speaks up about what they want. Overall, you can be confident that if you upset a Leo, you’re bound to hear them roar.
Virgo – The Virgin (August 23rd – September 22nd)
Next, the Virgo is represented as an M-shaped symbol & it’s named “Virgo,” connects to the virgin. This is because the Virgo is very pure, innocent, & honest. Everything they do, they do with good intentions & a pure heart. Thus, they are sometimes vulnerable, lack confidence, & are unsure of what direction to go, as an innocent soul would. Overall, they are full of such light that they truly light up the Zodiac.
Libra – The Scales (September 23rd – October 22nd)
Next, the Libra is often represented with scales to show balance, organization, & fairness in all aspects of life. As such, this sign is very intellectual & wise, as it would take a wise soul to be so balanced & grounded. Because of this, they naturally gravitate more balanced individuals in friendships & partnerships as this feeds their souls. If a relationship lacks the stability the Libra requires, they will put themselves above it & move on.
Scorpio – The Scorpion (October 23rd – November 21st)
The next in line is the water element, the Scorpio. Represented through the symbol of the scorpion, this sign is very expressive, driven, & passionate. They are quick movers, just as the scorpion, & their reputation perceives them. But just as with the long tail of the scorpion, this sign can be very jealous & toxic, so one must always be aware of the Scorpios deadly sting.
Sagittarius – The Archer (November 22 – December 21st)
Next, represented through the archer arrow, is the Sagittarius. This sign is represented as the archer for its swift-moving pursuits & it’s the ability to aim at its prize cover a lot of ground in a short time to get to it. As such, these signs are very goal-driven & are always chasing after something. They are also very adventurous but can become impatient when they aren’t moving as quickly as they’d like. Stand in the way of the ambitions of a Sagittarius & you’re bound to get wounded.
Capricorn – The Goat (December 22nd – January 19th)
Next, the Capricorn is represented through the goat’s sign, as such, they are an earth sign with discipline. The Capricorn tends to stick to traditional routines just as the goat. They are also very persistent, strategic & determined in what they want. However, they tend to butt their heads with others quite a bit who don’t share the same beliefs & can be very stubborn. Overall, the Capricorn is focused & going full speed, so don’t step in their way or you’re going to rammed.
Aquarius – The Water Bearer (January 20th – February 18th)
Next, the Aquarius, although shown as a water bearer in their symbol, is actually an air sign. This shows us that not all is as appears with this sign, & they are actually full of unexpected depth. The Aquarius is very intellectual & a very deep thinker, which can be shown in their water symbolism. Although, they are also quite stubborn & like to be right, so if you oppose the Aquarius, get ready to get dumped on.
Pisces – The Fish (February 19th – March 20th)
And lastly, the Pisces is represented through two fish swimming in different directions. This tells us that the Pisces is mysterious, unpredictable, & always thinking. This makes them interesting, understanding, & open to those around them. Because of this, they can be overly trusting & mislead, which, like the fish, can cause them to swim away from people without looking back.
