Editorial Policy

The standards every AstrologyBay article is held to: accuracy, clear separation of fact and interpretation, transparency, sourcing, and corrections.

Editorial Policy

Every article on AstrologyBay is held to the same standards, whether it's a factual explainer, a sign profile, or a how-to guide.

Our standards

Accuracy first. Any claim that can be checked against the real world — astronomy, history, dates, the rules of a tradition — is checked. On factual topics we cite sources (see Sources & Methodology).

Fact and interpretation are kept separate. We write about astronomy as science and astrology as a tradition of meaning, and we never blur the two. A statement about the precession of the equinoxes is presented as fact; a statement about what Scorpio "symbolizes" is presented as interpretation. (See About for more on how we frame astrology.)

Transparency over hype. We don't manufacture mystery or use fear ("your sign is secretly wrong!") to keep you reading. We answer the question you came for, near the top, in plain language.

Traditions are attributed. Where systems disagree — Western vs. Vedic, Indian vs. Chinese palmistry — we say which tradition holds which view, rather than presenting one as the single truth.

No thin, mass-produced filler. We write depth-first, not volume-first. Articles are as long as the topic genuinely warrants and no longer; we don't pad a clear answer to hit a word count.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. Spotted an error? Tell us and we'll review and correct it, noting the update date on the page.

A note on astrology and well-being

Astrology can be a meaningful lens for reflection, but it is not a substitute for professional advice — medical, psychological, legal, or financial. For decisions that matter to your health or livelihood, please consult a qualified professional.
